Professor Hippocrates Oedipus Potamus (or Hip O. Potamus for short) has a secret laboratory in the basement of Porcine House.

Professor Potamus cannot understand why these inventions have not yet made him rich. The silent radio won't keep you up at night and the all-dry shower saves having to dry all those towels.

It is useful because no one including burglars can get into your house! Professor Potamus replies: 'I have put one of these on my house. I was going to call you and tell you about it, but I went out shopping and now I can't get back in to use the phone!'

Schiller C. suggests inventing a machine that'll do your homework for you. Professor Potamus replies: 'I already invented one of this for doing handwriting homework: everything comes out very neat and tidy from the printer! But the teachers kept on giving low marks: they said that to do handwriting, you have to use your actual hands. I don't understand it.''

House that'll do what you want

Joyce C. wants Professor Potamus to invent 'a house that can obey you'. Professor Potamus says that he has already invented 'SuperHouse Model 1.0'. He says that this the house is just great: it stops you from getting wet when it rains, and it has special holes in the wall so you can get in and out and look outside. He calls these 'doors' and 'windows'.

Josy W suggested Professor Potamus work on a food machine. So his next invention is the ''Weight loss cooker'': you put all the food in, turn it on, wait a while, and then all the food disappears. It's great for losing weight!
